All Others:  Custom Orders
and Unique Pieces
These are some of the specialty orders I have gotten.  I love "custom orders" as they challenge my skills and allow for new interpretations.
Well, this was the frog that went to Indiana, to a fellow ghost-enthusiast, Bobbie.  She named him Jerimiah.  He was an interesting one to make.  I went to the University of South Florida's library to check out some of thier Marine Science information.  I ended up working off a frog species discovered in S. America in 1998.  I added copper for the energizing effect that it possesses.
Fish:  Using colored metal wire and "found object" wooden beads.

"Jabberwock," based on poem by Lewis Carroll:
JABBERWOCKY
Lewis Carroll

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Rabbit (on display, hence the chain and hook)

Dreamcatcher Redone (left) and Dreamcatcher Augmented (below).  Both have great symbolisms, includind dream beings (left), Spider figures (Grandmother/Mother Spider, below), liminal states, buttons of reality, and chains linking humanity through the universal subconsciousness/unconsciousness.
(Left) Small Dreamcatcher:  dreams of wealth, sex, power, love, marriage, and more are represented in this small dreamcatcher.
"Winged Pig" -- found objects (ornament) and polymer clay, wire.  12/2003.
Dali Museum Hat; Mad Hatter Auction. With matching egg pin. Sold.
My first pug image!  I'm a third generation pug owner.
1890's hat as made through wire, found objects.  Sold.
Free "Aaz" the Wind, balloon person, multiballoon prototype, 3.2007.
Prayer Flag Project, Canada. 3. 2007
Moon Balloon:  This is part of my "balloon people" series -- I guess I must really want some feedom.  These figures are always dangling at the end of a large balloon -- heading off for places unknown.  This one is special, as it also glowed in the dark, hence it's name.
This is one of three cross pendants that I made -- hand wrapped wire, with found objects. 1 inch in length.
"Cinderella Waiting For Her Prince" I don't know where this one came from, but this is Cinderella, dressed in found object coat and single shoe, witn a polymer dress.  She stands holding onto a post and starting at a watch (found object) which is set one minute to midnight.  She is awaiting her prince, but the ball is fading and time is nearly gone....her dress is cracking, the flowers are dead.
"Would You? (Adam and Eve)"This represents Eve as she comes up to Adam with the fruit.  If they knew the results of their actions, would they still do it?  It gained them knowledge of good and evil, but lost them Paradise. Canvas had glow in the dark paint and faintly glows when lights are out.
"Steppin' Out"  This one went to the UK for a wedding gift.  I was thrilled.  The three fairies have decided to go outside the framework, one is stepping out of the box.
"Pug-oyle":  Like a Gargoyle, only cuter.  Glows in the dark.  Need to make more of these.
Wings:  I was asked to paint a wing form; I decided to represent the ether with them -- space (black), sky (blue) and heaven (silver).  Found objects hang off of them, including a dream-being (in heaven; a conceptual creature which we do not fully understand or know).  These were on WEDU for auction for a fundraiser.
Custom order:  I was asked to create a wire statue utilizing objects from the homeowner, and basing the image on her horse, BJ (right).  See result below...
